Scrunchies to help tame that lock down mane.
Do you or someone you know have hair? Great, let me introduce you to our PICK'N MIX scrunchies in an array of bold colours to spark the same joy as the humble $2 lollie mixture from any good New Zealand dairy.
Inspired by the waistband of her pajama pants, Rommy Revson designed and patented her first scrunchie by 1987. Since they have graced the heads and wrists of many and contrary to Carrie Bradshaw's opinion - scrunchies are rad and can/should be worn by anyone who desires to ooze power and steeze.
We chose 100% merino for our first batch of scrunchies and tight elastic inside to hold your hair in place without twisting or abrasion.
100% crafted in East London by idle hands.

Knitter
I have readily relied on the tangible to occupy my hands - from chatter rings and Rubik's cube to knitting and always (always) carrying a book.
The seed for Noggin was planted in Dunedin, NZ where I learnt to knit from my mother, who learnt from her mother. I made beanies for friends and family at Jack Hill's studio on George Street, offhandedly called 'Crafternoon.'
Fast forward to my current life in East London. Lockdown 1.0 saw the creation of knitted face masks. Although these badboys were cute and courteous, they were purely cosmetic and proved a venture left to the PPE professionals. Lockdown 2.0 was when the real oomph happened. Fueled by porridge, idle hands and a lockdown mane that needed taming, scrunchies were crafted.
Massive eternal thanks to Zac Fay (@zac.fay) for all the logo work and the best trio of knitted critters.
